In the My Training section there should be a recent history to show you the series/videos that you have watched in the past X days (I would say 14 days but that could be flexible). So if you leave a series it is quick and easy to pick up where you left off.
Customer requested to have the ability to customize the email notifications that go out to their users with an assigned training. Some items they would like to see customize able/editable include editing the URL to send users to their portal instead of the site, School Name, and ability to add further instructions.
A Customer would like the ability to attach assigned training to like an outlook calendar or google calendar. They like the email notifications, but would also like to see a meeting invite or task sent to the user for their calendar.
A customer reported today they are seeing a shift in their faculty moving their courses from their LMS to WordPress. As a result he would like to see a plug in to help integrate AL into those WordPress courses that are being created. He acknowledges that they could create easy links and paste into WordPress, but says it would help in integration.
When pulling content into an LMS, it would be great if selecting tutorials, there was a feature that could add up the times of the tutorials. This is handy when trying to limit how much a student views per night. For example, if a professor wants to limit students to viewing only a half hour of tutorials per night, as they are selecting the tutorials when presented , they could scroll down to see a feature letting them ...more »
An additional feature that has been requested by a faculty member at an institution would be for the admin to have the ability to pull all the questions and answers that a user submitted (broken out by ISTE Standard). Currently they can get the list of incorrect questions/answers, but not the full list nor broken down by standard.
A customer has previously created content using Articulate, but we do not allow Articulate files to be uploading into our custom area. They are currently looking for ways in which they do not have to recreate this content.
A customer would like an option to play AL tutorials at a few rates of speed. Quote below from Customer.
"We use a lot of Atomic Learning videos for Adobe software training...but students have limited time for watching and doing...and so the ability for them to speed up videos to watch the first time through and then to go back for areas that they need to revisit at a slower pace...is a great time saver. "
It would be cool to get an module from Atomic Learning that an institution could put in Blackboard that would scroll through some of the available training. It could either be a total scroll like the one, post log in for the Newly Added Section or it could change upon refreshing of the page. Even better, would be the ability for a faculty member to customize the series that are being shown to either fit the institution ...more »
A new tab on our site with the application list, workshop, assistive technology, and career skill listings directly on it. Users love the application listing we have in paper form and it would be great to have it readily accessible on the site with the items linked to search results. Users would be able to open the tab and see a list of all the training and when they found something they are interested in, they would ...more »
In a conversation with a customer it came up that it would be nice to have the ability to take the ISTE Assessments through their LMS. This would be pretty close to the same way skills assessments are brought into an LMS through the LTI tool. Even better if the grade center functionality worked with it.
