Many campuses are moving to Blackboard Collaborate Ultra and training would be great to have available.
Morale has been a topic of late in conversations and some institutions are looking for ways to build morale. This series could be from an Admin/Leadership side and/or from a team building perspective. Thinking in terms of budget cuts, people can fear for their jobs, so what are some things or strategies that leadership can do to make a more positive environment, even through times of distress.
As the number of Active Shooters on campuses have continued to rise, there is a real need for this type of training. Training could include topics such as Active Shooter Awareness (Workplace/School, Criminal, and Ideological), Incident Response, Workplace Violence, and actions that can be taken before, during, and after an incident. If people are trained effectively in these areas, they can play roles that will mitigate ...more »
Many Institutions, Databases, and Resources are planning to move to and use the latest edition of MLA (8th). It would be great to have an update to that series before the start of the fall semester.
A few institutions have moved to Versions 10.6 and would like training on this newer version.
It would be cool to get an module from Atomic Learning that an institution could put in Blackboard that would scroll through some of the available training. From a partner "I found a great video on Atomic Learning on Creating an Accessible Syllabus – but it is using Word 2013 and Adobe Acrobat Pro XI. Do you have any plans to make one using Word 2016 and Acrobat Pro DC? Especially Acrobat Pro DC as the look of Acrobat is very different."
A request came in as a follow up to our Digital Video in the Classroom series. They would like a follow up series to be How Faculty (and/or students) should conduct themselves in video - Best Practices. From in a classroom setting to being on video, there is a big difference and it may help those struggling to engage with their students.
Apple recently released their iOS 9 back in Mid-September. Users are moving to the new platform and it would be great to have a training available for them as they make the transition.
This has come up in a couple of conversations. With Atomic Learning being a full campus wide resource, some content regarding Critical Thinking Skills from a Leadership or Managerial position would be awesome! Asking Essential Questions is a great series that covers part of the Critical Thinking topic and there are other series that also help with pieces, but a single series on Critical Thinking would be great!
